Backyard Inflatable Games Guide for Hamilton
Planning a backyard party in Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Binbrook, Grimsby, or Burlington and thinking about adding an inflatable? This guide walks through the four things that decide whether an inflatable will actually work in your yard: space, power, ages, and delivery access.
We're Regis Event Rentals, a local family-run event rental company. Delivery is our base service, and inflatable setup and teardown are always included as a safety requirement.
Step 1 — Measure your yard
Walk the space where the inflatable will go and measure both width and depth. Standard bouncers need 13 ft × 13 ft, combo units need 15 ft × 25 ft or more. Add a few feet of buffer around the unit for safety and airflow. Look up — no low branches or wires overhead.
Step 2 — Check power access
Every inflatable uses a blower that plugs into a standard 110V outlet. Ideal setup is within 75 ft of an exterior outlet. Further away or no outdoor outlet? Add our generator ($65) to the quote.
Step 3 — Pick the right unit for the age mix
Bounce houses and combos suit ages 3–12. For teens and adults, look at interactive inflatables and sports-style units like the Basketball Shootout or Football Toss. Mixed-age party? Book a bouncer plus one interactive game so everyone has something to do.
Step 4 — Pair with lawn games and seating
Guests get tired of one activity. Add 2–3 lawn games (Cornhole, Giant Jenga, Ladder Ball) and enough chairs and tables for the sit-down/food area. All in one delivery.
Step 5 — Confirm delivery access
Our team hand-trucks the inflatable through your gate to the setup spot. Aim for a 36 in / 3 ft minimum gate width. Flag any steps, tight corners, or soft ground when you request the quote.
