Rental Policies & Terms
One set of policies covers every booking. Sections below apply based on the items in your order.
1. General Rental Terms
Applies to all bookings with Regis Event Rentals.
- Rental Period: Standard rental is a 24-hour block unless arranged otherwise in writing. Pickup and return times are scheduled in advance.
- Payment: A 25% deposit is required to reserve equipment and secure your rental date. The remaining balance is due before or on the rental date.
- Deposits & Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental date may be eligible for a booking credit toward a future rental at the discretion of Regis Event Rentals. Cancellations within 48 hours of the rental date are not eligible for credits or refunds.
- Delivery & Pickup: Delivery is available across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Binbrook, Burlington, Niagara, and surrounding areas. Pickup is available from our Stoney Creek location.
- Vehicle Requirements: Customers selecting pickup are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is large enough to safely transport rented equipment. If rented items cannot fit safely in the customer's vehicle at pickup, delivery fees may apply.
- Damage: The customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive wear beyond normal use. Repair or replacement costs will be charged.
- Cleaning: Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered. Excessive cleaning fees may apply.
- Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for the equipment from delivery/pickup until return.
- Late Returns: Late returns may result in additional rental day charges.
- General Safety: All equipment must be used safely and as intended. We reserve the right to refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
- Weather: For outdoor rentals, customers may reschedule due to bad weather based on availability. No refunds for weather-related issues once setup has been completed.
2. Chairs, Tables, and Event Decor Terms
Applies when your booking includes chairs, tables, linens, or event decor.
- Setup and teardown are optional add-on services that can be selected at checkout.
- If teardown is not selected, all chairs and tables must be stacked, folded, and ready for pickup at the agreed location and time.
- The customer must provide accurate venue timing and pickup access details (stairs, elevators, loading areas, parking restrictions).
- Any venue restrictions (noise curfews, vendor access windows, building rules) must be shared at the time of booking.
- Items must be cleared of personal belongings, food, and decorations prior to pickup.
- Linens must be free of food and debris before return. Heavily soiled, burned, or torn linens may incur a replacement fee.
3. Inflatables & Interactive Game Safety Terms
Applies when your booking includes an inflatable game, inflatable attraction, or interactive sports game.
- Adult supervision is required at all times while inflatable games are in use.
- Do not use during high winds, lightning, heavy rain, or unsafe weather conditions.
- The inflatable must be turned off and deflated if weather conditions become unsafe.
- A dedicated standard power outlet is required within reach of the setup location.
- No climbing, wrestling, rough play, or unsafe behaviour on or around inflatable equipment.
- Follow all posted occupancy and age restrictions.
- Customer accepts responsibility for safe use during the rental period.
- Customer accepts liability for injury, misuse, damage, or failure to follow safety rules.
