Park and Pavilion Event Rentals in Hamilton

Park and pavilion bookings are the most common outdoor community setups we deliver to. Requirements are not the same at every park, so the details below are things to confirm with the City of Hamilton or the facility that issued your booking before your delivery date.

    Before you book

    • Confirm you have the park permit or facility permission required for your gathering. We do not obtain permits on your behalf.
    • Confirm the delivery and pickup windows your permit or booking allows so we can schedule inside them.
    • Check whether electrical power is available, and how far it is from where any powered item would sit. Powered items need a standard outlet within 75 ft of the setup spot; if there is nothing nearby, contact us before booking.
    • Choose equipment suited to an outdoor site: firm, level ground is easiest for our hand-truck, and soft or waterlogged grass should be flagged.
    • Have a weather contingency in mind. See our rental policies for the current weather and cancellation terms.

    On delivery day

    • Give us the exact park, pavilion or reserved-area location, not just the park name.
    • Identify the nearest permitted unloading point for a vehicle, and whether vehicles may enter at all.
    • Tell us how far equipment has to be moved from that unloading point; a long grass or path carry changes how long the drop-off takes.

General guidance only. Rules differ between parks and facilities, and we cannot confirm whether a specific item is permitted at a specific site. Check with the City or the facility.

Rentals that suit a park or pavilion booking

These items need no mains power. Suitability still depends on your site and your permit, so confirm anything unusual with the facility first.

    Halls, Arenas and Community Centres

For events booked into a community hall, neighbourhood centre, arena or similar facility, we can supply chairs, tables, linens and games and deliver them to the room you have booked. We do not rent the hall, arena or community centre itself. Access varies a lot between facilities, so these are details worth confirming with the venue before your delivery date.

    • The venue’s approved delivery and pickup windows
    • Which entrance to use for loading, and whether a specific door is assigned
    • The distance between the unloading point and the event space
    • Stairs, ramps or an elevator on the route
    • Door and elevator dimensions when large items such as 8ft tables or round tables are ordered
    • Any floor-protection requirement the facility applies
    • Whether carts or dollies are permitted on the floor
    • Where equipment should be staged for the return pickup
    • The name and phone number of the onsite contact for both delivery and pickup

    Street closures and block parties

    • Street closures for block parties require a City permit, arranged by the organizer.
    • Confirm the access windows the closure allows before scheduling delivery and pickup.
    • Send the exact drop-off point on the street so the truck goes straight there.

    Delivery, pickup and payment

Delivery to your drop-off point is our base service and includes the return pickup after the event. Setup and teardown of chairs and tables are optional paid add-ons. Where a permit or venue booking sets the access windows, we schedule delivery and pickup inside them. Lighter items are eligible for customer pickup from our Stoney Creek location with a refundable security deposit; delivery-only items are marked on their product page. A 25% deposit reserves your equipment and date, with the balance due before or on the rental date. See delivery pricing and the rental policies. We do not rent tents.
